Tender Notice

The Marine Fisheries Department, Karachi, invites bids under the project:

“Enhancing Sustainable Fisheries: Implementing and Validating Efficiency of Turtle Excluder Devices (TEDs) on Shrimp Trawlers of Marine Fisheries Department.”

Bids are invited from original manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, or firms who are registered with the Taxation Department and are active taxpayers for the procurement of the following goods:

Instructions for Bidders:

1. The bidding process will follow a Single Stage Single Envelope Procedure. Detailed terms and conditions are included in the bidding documents.

2. Bidding documents are available at the Marine Fisheries Department, Fish Harbor, West Wharf, Karachi.

   • Price of documents: PKR 5,000 (Non-Refundable)

   • Payment via Pay Order / Demand Draft in favor of Director General, Marine Fisheries Department.

   • Documents can also be downloaded free of cost from eProcurement portal
      

3. Each financial offer must include 5% of the total bid value as bid security, in the form of Pay Order / Call Deposit / Demand Draft in favor of Director General, Marine Fisheries Department.

4. Sealed envelopes must clearly indicate the Tender Title and Project Title.

5. The Marine Fisheries Department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with the relevant PPRA Rules.
