Punjab Highway Department invites e-tenders from reputable engineering firms and contractors for the execution of the following special repair road projects in District Nankana Sahib. The tendering process will be conducted through the PPRA E-Tendering System, in accordance with the latest rules and regulations of the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA).

Details of Work

Eligibility and Participation Requirements

1. Only firms and contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in relevant categories/codes are eligible to apply.

2. Interested contractors must be registered on the Punjab PPRA e-Procurement portal. Instructions for registration are available on the PPRA website.

3. Bidders must:

   • Upload earnest money (2% of the estimated/bid cost) in the form of CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) made out in favor of the Executive Engineer via the PPRA E-Tendering system at least 30 minutes before the bid opening time.

   • Submit the original CDR in person to the Tender Opening Committee half an hour before the opening time. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification.

4. After uploading bids online, bidders are welcome to attend the bid opening session at the office of the Commissioner on 09 July 2025 at 1:30 PM, where all bids will be reviewed and results announced in the presence of the Tender Committee.

5. Submission of fake documents or invalid CDRs will lead to disqualification, blacklisting, and further action with PPRA and PEC.

6. The department reserves the right to reject any or all bids before acceptance as per PPRA Rule 35.

Additional Technical Notes

• Rigid pavement must be laid using a concrete batching plant and paving machine.

• TST/DST/Surfacing works must be carried out using mechanized systems.

• Recovery of old materials, if any, will be adjusted manually, and bids will be evaluated accordingly.

• No price variation will be allowed.
