Sadiq Public School, Bahawalpur invites sealed tenders on item rates or percentage above/below the approved estimated cost from eligible contractors/firms. Bidders must be enlisted or renewed in the relevant category with Sadiq Public School and registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the financial year 2025–26, under T.S. No. PR/170/25 for the following building renovation projects:

Tender documents can be collected immediately after this advertisement and up to 10th July 2025.

Documents can be obtained on written request with attested copies of PEC license, CNIC of contractor/ managing partner/ director, and power of attorney.

Cost of documents is Rs. 1,000/- payable via CDR, DD, or cashier cheque from the Accounts Office, SPS during office hours, or downloaded from the PPRA website.

Submission & Opening:
-
Sealed tenders must be submitted by 11th July 2025 up to 11:00 AM.

Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM at the Pavilion building, in the presence of interested bidders or their authorized representatives.

If the opening day is a gazetted or local holiday, tenders will be received and opened on the next working day.

Bidding Process:
-
The process will follow single-stage, one-envelope open competitive bidding.
-

If the lowest bidder’s quoted rate is 5% or more below the estimated cost, the bidder must deposit Quality Assurance Security equal to the difference between the estimated cost and quoted amount within 10 days after bid opening.

Bids that are conditional, unsigned, incomplete, contain cutting/overwriting, or appear doubtful will not be accepted.

The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids before acceptance under PPRA Rule-35 (Rejection of Bids). On request, the reasons for rejection will be shared with the bidder.

Contractors must submit bids on the prescribed forms only; otherwise, bids will be rejected.

Contractors must arrange and bear the cost of all required quality control tests themselves.

For any clarifications, interested bidders may contact the Estate Officer/Project Director at Sadiq Public School during working hours before the tender opening date.

The project is awarded on a lump sum basis; therefore:

No variation in quantities will be paid or entertained.
-
No price escalation will be paid due to material, labor, or any other input cost increases.

In case of conflict or ambiguity among contract documents, the following order of precedence applies (highest to lowest priority):

Drawings
-
Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

Payments:
-
Will be made in stage-wise or monthly installments as specified in the work order.

Payments are subject to bill submission by the contractor and verification by the engineer.

Retention money will be deducted from each payment and released after completion of the Defects Liability Period and issuance of the Defects Liability Certificate.
