Procurement of Plumbing Items for PKLI Rawalpindi

The Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute & Research Centre (PKLI&RC) invites E-Bids from authorized distributors, resellers, partners, or dealers in Pakistan for the supply of plumbing items for PKLI Rawalpindi for the financial year 2024–2025.

Bidders must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and must have active tax profiles.

Scope of Work:

• PKLI&RC is seeking bids from reputable manufacturers, general order suppliers, or sole proprietors for the supply of plumbing items, with free delivery to the Consignee’s location at PKLI Rawalpindi.

• Complete technical specifications and quantities are provided in the bidding documents.

Key Information for Bidders:

1. Bidding documents are available free of cost and can be downloaded from the PKLI website. Detailed specifications are included in these documents.

2. Bids will be processed under the Single Stage – Two Envelope bidding procedure. Both Technical and Financial Bids must be submitted electronically using the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS).

3. The deadline for bid submission is July 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM through E-PADS. Hard copies of bids will not be accepted.

4. Bidders must upload a bid security amounting to Rs. 20,081 (which is 2% of the estimated cost of Rs. 1,004,047) in the form of a Bank Guarantee, CDR, Demand Draft, or Pay Order in favor of Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute & Research Centre. The original bid security must be submitted on the day of bid opening.

5. The bid security is mandatory and must be valid and complete.

6. Bidders may obtain further details or assistance from the Supply Chain Department, PKLI&RC, during working hours (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM) at the contact details below.

7. Bids must remain valid for 180 days from the date of opening.

8. If the submission date falls on an official holiday, the next working day will be considered the closing date.

9. PKLI&RC will not be responsible for any cost incurred by bidders in preparing or submitting their bids.

10. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on July 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the conference room of the Supply Chain Department, PKLI Lahore.

11. This procurement will be conducted as per the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended) and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024.
