SSGC Alternate Energy (Pvt.) Ltd. (SSGC-AE), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC), and licensed by OGRA, is pleased to invite sealed bids for the sale of Natural Gas (NG) / RLNG to eligible industrial customers, including Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and Captive Power Producers (CPPs). This sale is exclusively for self-consumption purposes and no resale or onward transfer of the gas is permitted.

Bidding Structure

The bidding process will follow a Single Stage – Two Envelope format, consisting of technical and financial submissions. The sale will be conducted via Forward Bidding, where the highest bid within each lot category will be awarded.

Important Details

• The gas offered under this bidding process is strictly for self-use only.

• Multiple lots may be bid for, but a separate bid security is required for each.

• Technical and financial proposals should be submitted in separate sealed envelopes.

• Financial bids must clearly mention the offered price in USD/MMBtu, exclusive of all applicable taxes and levies.

• The bids will be evaluated independently based on their respective lot categories.

Eligibility Requirements

Bidders must:

• Hold valid GST, NTN, and SST certificates.

• Be listed as active taxpayers with the FBR.

• Submit a non-debarment undertaking on PKR 100/- non-judicial stamp paper, certifying that they are not blacklisted by any government agency or department.

• Attach all relevant licenses, certificates, and authorization documents as required in the tender documents.

Timing: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Fee: PKR 2,000/- (Payable via Pay Order, Demand Draft, or SSGC Cash Receipt)

The request letter for tender documents must include:

• Copies of valid GST, NTN, and SST registrations

• Complete contact details including mailing address, phone/cell/fax numbers, email, and website (if any)

Submission & Opening of Bids

• Deadline for Bid Submission: June 30, 2025, at 12:00 PM

• Bid Opening (Public): June 30, 2025, at 12:30 PM

• Venue: Tender Room, SSGC Head Office, Karachi

• Late submissions will not be accepted. If the date falls on a public holiday, the process will shift to the next working day at the same time.

• SSGC-AE reserves the right to reject any or all bids prior to acceptance without assigning any reason.

• No responsibility will be taken by SSGC-AE for delays, miscommunication, or incomplete submissions.
