Municipal Committee Kot Momin invites tenders on an item rates basis in accordance with PPRA rules for its approved scheme titled "Providing and Installation of Generator for Disposal Works" for the year 2024-25 under the MRS 2nd Bi-Annual 2024 (from 1st July 2024 to 31st December 2024) through E-PADS (PPRA) from registered firms/contractors who hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) License for the relevant category for the year 2024-25.

  • Warranty: Minimum One Year

  • RPM: 1500, Voltage: 230/415 Volt, Power Factor: 08PF, Frequency: 50HZ, Phase: III-Phase, Cooling System: Water-cooled

  • Additional accessories required for the complete installation of the generator.

• CDR (Earnest Money): Rs. 150,000

Terms and Conditions:

1. Tender/Bidding Documents:
   The intending contractors/firms may download the tender/bidding documents from E-PADS by the Engineering Branch, Municipal Committee Kot Momin from the publication date of this tender notice until the last date of submission. The following documents must be submitted:

   • 3% Earnest Money in the form of CDR from any scheduled bank in Punjab, in favor of the Chief Officer, Municipal Committee Kot Momin. The original CDR must be submitted to the tender opening committee two (02) hours before the bid opening in the office of the Municipal Committee Kot Momin. Failure to submit the original CDR within the stipulated time will lead to disqualification.

   • PEC License with the relevant code and category valid up to 30th June 2025.

   • The firm/contractor must be an active taxpayer registered with PRA, FBR, and Income Tax.

2. Bid Submission:
   Bidders may submit their bids through E-PADS from the date of publication of the tender until 24th April 2025, 01:00 PM.

3. Bid Opening:
   All bids will be opened on the same date, 24th April 2025, at 02:00 PM in the office of the Municipal Committee Kot Momin by the tender opening committee, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.

4. Bid Requirements:

   • Item-wise rates must be quoted in both numbers and words on E-PADS. No percentage rates will be accepted.

   • Incomplete, unsigned, or unfilled bids will not be considered and will be rejected.

5. Additional Performance Security:
   If the lowest bid is more than 3% below the estimated cost, the lowest bidder will be required to deposit additional performance security (including the CDR) within 15 days of receiving the notice. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the 3% earnest money, and the re-tendering process will be initiated. This action is not subject to challenge in any court of law.

6. Rejection of Bids:
   The Procuring Agency (Competent Authority) reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of the bid or proposals as per PPRA Rules 2014, Chapter VI, Clause 35.

7. Agreement:
   After the acceptance letter is issued to the successful contractor, they must execute an agreement with the department on stamp paper of the specified value within 15 days to receive the work order.

8. Completion Time:
   The time period for the completion of the project will be specified in the work order after the approval of the rates of the lowest bidder.

9. Quality Control Tests:
   Contractors awarded the work order are required to conduct the necessary quality control tests at their own expense.
