Municipal Committee Chakwal invites sealed item-rate bids from eligible contractors, duly registered with the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) in the relevant categories, for the execution of the following development schemes. Bidding will be carried out under the Single Stage – One Envelope procedure, in accordance with the PPRA Rules.

Important Terms and Conditions:

1. Bid Submission Deadline:

   • Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS by 13th May 2025, 2:00 PM.

   • Original CDRs (Call Deposit Receipts) must be submitted in person to the office of the Municipal Committee Chakwal by 11:00 AM on the same day. Failure to comply will result in rejection of the bid.

2. Bid Opening:

   • Bids will be opened through EPADS on 13th May 2025 at 2:30 PM in the office of the Municipal Committee Chakwal, in the presence of participating bidders or their authorized representatives.

3. Bidding Requirements:

   • Bidders must fill in all required forms, sign and stamp all pages of the bidding documents before uploading.

   • Attendance must be marked before the bid submission deadline.

   • Representatives must present an authorization letter.

4. Rates and Calculations:

   • Bids must quote rates in both figures and words against each scheme.

   • If any item is quoted above the Market Rate Schedule (MRS), it will be treated as at par with MRS (1st Bi-Annual 2025).

   • Conditional, unsigned, incomplete, or illegible bids will be rejected.

5. Performance and Quality:

   • The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance guarantee as per prevailing government rules.

   • Any required quality control tests must be carried out by the contractor at their own expense.

6. Other Conditions:

   • The competent authority may reject any or all bids prior to approval.

   • The work order will specify the completion period after approval of the bid.

   • In case of any arithmetic or typing error, the original documents will prevail.

   • All other provisions of the bidding documents remain applicable.
