Sealed tenders are invited from eligible engineering firms and contractors for the following scheme, in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) e-tendering system and the rules amended up to date. Interested participants must comply with the terms and conditions outlined below:

1. Only contractors or firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under relevant categories and codes are eligible to participate. In addition, participants must be registered on the Punjab e-procurement portal. Details and registration procedures are available on the PPRA website.

2. Tender documents must be obtained through the EPAD system. All bids must also be submitted/uploaded through the EPAD platform.

3. All participating contractors must upload a scanned copy of the earnest money deposit (CDR)—amounting to 2% of the estimated cost—in favor of Municipal Committee Jalalpur Jattan before the tender closing time. However, the original CDR must be physically submitted to the Tender Opening Committee at least 30 minutes before bid opening time, otherwise the bid will be disqualified.

4. After submitting bids online, bidders may attend the opening session at the Municipal Committee Jalalpur Jattan office on 17th May 2025 at 12:30 PM, where all bids will be retrieved, reviewed, and the quoted rates will be announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee.

5. Any submission of false information or fake documents—such as a forged CDR—will result in immediate disqualification, blacklisting from current and future tendering processes of the Municipal Committee Jalalpur Jattan, and possible reporting to both PPRA and PEC for further action.

6. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids prior to final acceptance in line with PPRA Rule 35 (Rejection of Bids).

7. Successful contractors will be required to submit a performance guarantee, as specified under Clause 56 of the PPRA Rules.
