Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) invites sealed bids from well-established and financially sound firms for the following item:

Item: Hydraulic Press for FTIR Spectrophotometer (FTIR-8400, SCHIMADZU)
Department: Environmental Sciences
Estimated Cost: PKR 1,105,000/-
Bid Security: 2% of estimated cost i.e., PKR 22,100/-

Eligibility Criteria

• Bidders must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax departments and listed as active tax filers.

• Only firms submitting bids through the Punjab e-Procurement (EPADS) system will be considered.

• Offers submitted via mail, courier, or by hand will be rejected.

Key Instructions

1. Prices must be quoted in Pak Rupees. GST (if applicable) should be clearly mentioned separately.

2. Bid Validity: The quoted prices should remain valid for 90 days, extendable by 30 more days.

3. Bid Security:

   • 2% of the estimated price (PKR 22,100/-)

   • In the form of Demand Draft, Pay Order, or Call Deposit Receipt, in favor of:
     "Treasurer, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi"

   • Attach a soft copy of the bid security with the technical E-Bid on EPADS.

   • Submit the original bid security to the University’s Purchase Office before the tender opening.

   • Crossed cheques, bank challans, cash, or any unapproved instruments will not be accepted.

5. The University reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason, in accordance with procurement rules. Grounds for rejection will be communicated upon request but are not required to be justified.
