The Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP), Karachi — a state-owned commercial organization operating under the Ministry of Commerce — invites sealed international bids from qualified suppliers and manufacturers of white refined sugar, either directly or through their authorized local representatives registered with federal and/or provincial tax authorities.

This tender covers the import of:

• 100,000 MT (±5%) White Refined Sugar (Bagged Cargo) on CFR Karachi basis (Break Bulk)

• 50,000 MT (±5%) White Refined Sugar (Bagged Cargo) on DPU basis to TCP Pipri Godown (Containers only)

• Product: White Refined Sugar

• Standards: PSQCA standards & Import Policy Order in force

• HS Code: 1701.99

• Grades:

  • Small (Fine) – Grain size 0.60–1.00 mm, ≥70% retained on 0.60 mm sieve

  • Medium – Grain size 1.00–1.70 mm, ≥70% retained on 1.00 mm sieve

• Minimum Bid Quantity: 25,000 MT for each mode (CFR or DPU)

• Delivery: As per shipment schedule in tender documents

• All shipments must reach designated ports or storage locations in Pakistan as per the given schedule.

• Bid validity: 80 hours from bid submission.

Bid Submission & Opening

• Submission Deadline: August 11, 2025, by 12:30 PM (Reception Counter, TCP Head Office, Karachi)

• Opening: August 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM (TCP Board Room, Karachi) in the presence of bidders/representatives.

Eligibility Conditions

• Bidders who previously defaulted or failed to meet contractual obligations with TCP are ineligible unless dues, penalties, or commitments are cleared before the opening date.

• Firms facing blacklisting proceedings by TCP are not eligible.

Right to Accept or Reject

TCP reserves the right to accept, reject, split, increase, or decrease the tender quantity as per PPRA Rules 2004.
