The Sindh Institute of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences (SIOVS), Hyderabad, invites sealed bids from original manufacturers, authorized distributors, suppliers, contractors, and vendors who are registered with Income Tax, Sales Tax, SRB, and are on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for the following procurement and service categories for the financial year 2025–26.

Tender forms can be collected from the SIOVS office or downloaded from the SIOVS and SPPRA websites.
Important Guidelines

Bids must be submitted under the Two Envelope System — separate technical and financial proposals.

All applicable taxes (Income Tax, GST, SST, SRB) will be deducted as per government regulations.

Bidders must ensure compliance with specifications and conditions outlined in the tender documents.

The envelope must clearly mention “Tender for [Item/Service Name]” on the top.

Bids must remain valid for three months from the technical opening date.

Do not use terms like "Quoted" or "Local" for items — always specify Brand, Company Name, Model, and Make.

Samples of all dry items may be requested during the technical evaluation.

Conditional or incomplete bids will be rejected.

For alternate offers, a separate tender form and receipt must be submitted.

In case of a public holiday or office closure on the opening date, bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time.
Right to Reject
SIOVS reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of items and to accept or reject any or all bids, as per SPPRA Rules.
