Notice Inviting Tender (NIT)
Annual Repair and Maintenance of Computers & Peripherals

Port Qasim Authority (PQA), operating under the Federal Ministry of Maritime Affairs, invites sealed tenders from reputed technology firms for the Annual Repair and Maintenance of Computers and Peripherals at PQA. The initial contract period is one year, which may be extended for another year based on satisfactory performance and at the discretion of the Authority.

Eligibility Criteria

Firms intending to participate must meet the following requirements:

• Be registered with FBR for Income Tax and Sales Tax.

• Be registered with the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) with a valid Sindh Sales Tax Registration Number (SNTN).

• Be listed on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue.

Bid Submission Details

• Deadline: Bids must reach the office of the Manager (IT) no later than 12:00 PM on 12th June 2025.

• Submission Mode: Bidders must be registered on the e-PADS (PPRA) platform and are required to upload their bids electronically via the same.

• A hard copy of the bid along with Earnest Money of PKR 200,000 (in the form of a Pay Order in favor of "Port Qasim Authority") must be submitted. The Pay Order must remain valid for 90 days beyond the date of bid opening.

Bidding Procedure

• This tender will follow PPRA Rule 36(b) — Single Stage, Two Envelope Procedure:

  • Bids must be submitted in two separate, sealed envelopes:

    1. Technical Proposal

    2. Financial Proposal

  • Only the Technical Proposals will be opened on 12th June 2025 at 12:30 PM in the presence of the Tender Committee and any attending firm representatives.

  • Representatives must bring an authorization letter from their respective firms to attend the opening session.

  • Financial Proposals of technically qualified bidders will be opened at a later date, which will be communicated in due course.

Important Notes

• Tender documents including complete instructions and scope of services can be downloaded from the Port Qasim Authority and PPRA websites.

• PQA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per the rules of PPRA 2004. No claims or objections will be entertained in this regard.

• The decision of the Port Qasim Authority will be considered final and binding.
