NTDC, a corporate entity formed after the restructuring of WAPDA and responsible for the country's power transmission system, invites sealed bids from eligible and experienced firms under the Single Stage – Single Envelope procedure on a National Competitive Bidding (NCB) basis.

Scope of Work

The tender involves:

• Civil Works, Erection, Stringing, Testing, and Commissioning

• Project: Rerouting/Uprising of the 500kV Barotha–Rawat Transmission Line (CCT-02)

• Location: Between Tower No. 257 and Tower No. 258

• This is a deposit work for the Rawalpindi Ring Road Project.

Firms must be:

• Registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List

• Registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in appropriate categories:

  • Civil: CE-10

  • Electrical: EE-05

Eligibility Criteria

• Bidders (as main contractors or subcontractors) must have completed at least one transmission line project in the last 15 years involving:

  • Civil and pile foundation work

  • Tower erection

  • Stringing

  • Successful testing and commissioning

• The project must be at the 500kV/220kV or higher voltage level, with a minimum length of 5 km

• The line must have been in satisfactory operation for at least two years prior to the date of bid opening

Bid Submission & Opening

• Bid Submission Deadline:
  16th June 2025 at 11:00 AM (PST)

• Bid Opening:
  Same day at 12:30 PM (PST)

• Bid Security:
  Must be at least 3% of the total bid price, in the form of a CDR or Pay Order from a scheduled bank in Pakistan.

• NTDC reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per Clause 33(1) of Public Procurement Rules 2004.

• Firms blacklisted by NTDC, DISCOs, or any other government organization at the time of bidding are not eligible.
