“Conserve Electricity to Reduce Load Shedding”

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) – South Circle invites sealed bids from eligible contractors for outsourced maintenance work on the distribution systems in the following divisions:

Groups & Scope of Work

Nature of Work (Same for All Groups):

• Tree trimming near electrical infrastructure

• Replacement of undersized or damaged jumpers

• Replacement of deteriorated bus bars (100-KVA, 200-KVA)

• Replacement of broken pin/disc insulators

• Replacement of damaged cross arms (X-arms)

• Straightening of tilted poles and structures

• Replacement or mid-spanning of damaged structures

• Correction of loose sagging lines

• Replacement of broken or unapproved drop-out cut-outs (D-Set)

• Replacement of deteriorated conductors at identified hotspots

• Installation of insulated HT/LT conductors in areas where trimming is not feasible (to prevent interruptions during humidity/rain)

• All work shall be carried out as per WAPDA/LESCO specifications

Eligibility Criteria:

Contractors/firms must:

1. Be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under codes EE-04 and EE-05

2. Be registered with PRA and FBR and appear on the Active Taxpayer List

3. Have renewed registration for the year 2025–26

4. Provide a declaration of not being blacklisted by any government/autonomous organization

5. Submit two completion certificates of similar nature of work under EE-04 and EE-05 categories

6. Submit Rs. 100,000/- as bid security via Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from any scheduled bank

7. Agree to furnish 10% performance security if awarded the contract

Note: Bids submitted without the required bid security will not be considered.

• Only those with relevant field experience should apply.

• LESCO reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with PPRA Rules.
