Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office in Lahore, invites sealed bids from eligible firms and contractors for the following work:

Tender Details

• Project Title: Supplying, laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning of High Tension (HT) Cables from Burt Colony to the Headquarters Office through open joints on poles — complete in all respects.

• Estimated Cost: Rs. 2.960 million

• Bid Security: Rs. 100,000/-

• Tender Closing Date & Time: 29th May 2025 at 11:00 AM

• Tender Opening Time: 29th May 2025 at 11:30 AM

Submission Instructions

1. Submission Platform: Bids must be submitted electronically via the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS). Bids submitted by any other means will not be accepted.

2. Bid Security: The bid security amount of Rs. 100,000/- must be submitted physically before the tender opening time at the office of the Assistant Electrical Engineer, Pakistan Railways Headquarters, Lahore.

3. Document Upload: A complete scanned copy of the bid must be uploaded to EPADS.

4. Bid Opening: Bids will be opened through the EPADS system on the same day, 29th May 2025, at 11:30 AM.

5. Bidding Documents: Interested bidders can download the bidding documents from the EPADS portal. Only registered users of EPADS (under PPRA) can access the tender documents and related information.

6. Compliance: Bids must be prepared strictly in accordance with the instructions in the bidding documents and submitted by the specified deadline.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only those firms/contractors who are:

  • Registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments,

  • Listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Pakistan Railways reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per Rule 33(1) of the Public Procurement Rules.
