National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC), which manages the power transmission system across Pakistan, invites sealed bids from eligible and experienced firms under the Single Stage – Two Envelope Procedure as per National Competitive Bidding (NCB) guidelines.

Scope of Work:

The project involves the following civil and electrical works:

• LOT-I:
  Replacement of 1 JKD Type Tower by dismantling the existing EG Type Tower at 220kV Grid Station Guddu.

• LOT-II:
  Replacement of 4 JKD Type Towers by dismantling 4 existing EG Type Towers at Uch-1, D.M. Jamali, and Sibbi Grid Stations.

Note:
All dismantling, erection, and stringing works must be carried out during the scheduled shutdowns of:

• 220kV Transmission Line Guddu–Shikarpur CKT-II

• 220kV Transmission Line Uch–D.M. Jamali–Sibbi

Tender Fee:

• PKR 5,000 (non-refundable), payable in cash.

Earnest Money:

• 2% of the bid amount in the form of CDR, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee.

• The security must be valid for at least 28 days beyond the bid validity period.

• Issued by any scheduled bank of Pakistan in favor of the Executive Engineer, S&I Division EHV-II NTDC, Rahim Yar Khan.

• Must be submitted at the time of bid opening.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Firms must have filed Income Tax Returns for the fiscal year 2023–2024 and possess a valid Income Tax Clearance Certificate.

2. Firms must be:

   • Registered with FBR for Income Tax and Sales Tax,

   • Listed on the Active Taxpayers List, and

   • Registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant and updated category.

3. Details of work requirements, tower types, and quantities are available in the bidding documents.

Bidding Documents:

• Available in English from the Office of the Executive Engineer (address below) during working hours.

• Can be obtained upon written request and payment of the tender fee in cash.

• Documents will only be issued to the firm’s proprietor or an authorized representative with an original CNIC.

• Available from the date of publication until one day before the tender opening date.

Important Conditions:

• All government taxes (federal and provincial) will apply as per relevant notifications.

• The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated, technically responsive bidder.

• NTDC reserves the right to reject any or all bids in line with PPRA Rule 33(1).
