INVITATION FOR BIDS

WAPDA, through the office of the Chief Engineer (Power) GB, WAPDA Power Complex, Barotha-Attock, invites sealed bids under the Single Stage – One Envelope Procedure for the Procurement of Mechanical Auxiliary Spare Parts and a Portable Oil Filtration Cart for the GB Power Complex, Barotha-Attock.

This procurement includes but is not limited to:

• Hydraulic Pumps for Tail Regulator

• Filters, Solenoid Valves, Check Valves, Ball Valves, Gate Valves

• Directional Valves for the Hydraulic Power Units (HPUCM)

• Portable Oil Filtration Cart

The contract completion period is 120 days from the date of establishment of the Letter of Credit (L/C).

Eligibility Criteria:

• Original equipment manufacturers, authorized distributors, or contractors may apply.

• Local firms/representatives must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and be listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

• Bidding is also open to international firms, in line with Government procurement policies.

Bidding Documents:

• Can be obtained up to May 26, 2025, by 4:30 PM from either of the following offices:

  • General Manager (Hydel) Operation, 186-WAPDA House, Lahore

  • Chief Engineer (Power) GB, WAPDA Power Complex, Barotha-Attock

• Bidding documents will be issued upon:

  • Submission of a written application

  • Payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 2,000/-

Bid Submission and Opening:

• Bid Security: PKR 1,100,000 or equivalent in a freely convertible currency

  • Must be submitted in the form of a Bank Guarantee, Deposit at Call, or a guarantee from a foreign bank counter-guaranteed by a Scheduled Bank in Pakistan

  • Made out in favor of the Purchaser

• Deadline for Submission:

  • May 27, 2025, by 11:00 AM

• Bid Opening:

  • May 27, 2025, at 11:30 AM

  • At the office of the Chief Engineer (Power) GB, WAPDA Power Complex Colony, Barotha-Attock

  • In the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who wish to attend

• Bids received after the closing time will not be entertained.

• The procuring agency reserves all rights in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules.
