EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

Collaboration / Joint Venture for Certified Seed Potato Production

The National Institute for Genomics and Advanced Biotechnology (NIGAB), operating under the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), invites reputable institutions, research bodies, and public or private seed companies to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for collaboration or joint ventures under the PSDP project “Pakistan-Korea Joint Program on Certified Seed Potato Production System.”

Purpose of Collaboration

This partnership aims to develop and commercialize a modern, efficient, and sustainable certified seed potato production system. The initiative will integrate advanced biotechnological approaches, including tissue culture, aeroponic production, and pathogen-free seed generation of advanced potato generations in controlled screen houses and field environments.

Scope of Partnership

The collaboration or joint venture may involve one or more of the following:

• Joint research and development activities

• Capacity building and skill enhancement

• Technology sharing and technical exchange

• Establishment of certified seed potato production units

• Technical or infrastructural support for quality assurance, testing, and certification

Required Information for EOI Submission

Interested organizations are requested to provide the following details:

1. Registration with the National Seed Development and Regulatory Authority (NSDRA) or FSC&RD for seed multiplication

2. A brief institutional or company profile

3. Relevant experience in potato tissue culture and certified seed potato multiplication

4. Details of technical, infrastructural, and marketing capabilities

5. Areas of interest for collaboration or joint venture

6. Summaries of past or ongoing similar seed-related projects, if applicable
