Auction Notice

Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites interested bidders to participate in an open public auction for the standing growth of Sarkanda/Kahi/Kundar located along the CJ-Link Canal (spoil banks, shelterbelts, and drains on both sides). The lease period will extend up to 28th February 2026.

Auction Schedule

The auction will be held on 20th November 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at WAPDA Main Camp, Chashma District Mianwali, for the following lots:

Auction Terms and Conditions

1. Bid Security:
   A bid security of Rs. 100,000/- (in the name of the bidder) must be submitted in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), payable to CE & PD, CB & CRBC, WAPDA Chashma. No bidder will be allowed to participate without this security deposit.

2. Bidder Identification:
   All participants must present a valid CNIC, along with their postal address and mobile number, before the auction begins.

3. Payment of Bid Amount:

   • The successful bidder must deposit 25% of the bid amount immediately at the time of auction (fall of hammer).

   • The remaining 75%, along with applicable income tax under Section 236-A (10% for filers, 20% for non-filers), must be paid within 21 working days of acceptance.

   • Failure to pay the balance within this period will result in forfeiture of the initial 25% deposit, and the lot will be re-auctioned.

4. Condition of Material:
   Sarkanda will be sold strictly on an “as-is, where-is” basis. Cutting, burning, or any activity that may cause fire is strictly prohibited. The successful bidder will be fully responsible for any loss or damage resulting from such actions.

5. Non-Compliance:
   If a bidder fails to deposit the required 25% at the time of auction, their bid security (Rs. 100,000/-) will be forfeited, and the second-highest bidder may be offered the lot under the same conditions.

6. Objections:
   Any objections must be raised before the start of the auction. Complaints received afterward will not be entertained.

7. Information and Inspection:
   Details regarding auction lots may be obtained from the office of the undersigned prior to the auction. Bidders are strongly advised to visit the site before bidding, as no grievances will be accepted after the award.

8. Re-Auction (if required):
   In case any lot is cancelled or rejected on 20th November 2025, it will be re-auctioned on 27th November 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the same venue and under the same terms.

9. Authority’s Rights:
   The competent authority reserves the right to accept, reject, or cancel any bid at any stage, as per PPRA Rules 2004 and WAPDA Material Disposal Procedures, without assigning any reason.

10. Additional Taxes:
    Any new or additional taxes imposed by the government during the lease period shall be paid by the successful bidder.
