The Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications (DEMP), under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, invites creative professionals and production houses to submit proposals for financial grants to support the development of:

• Feature Films

• Telefilms

• Documentaries

• Dramas

• Songs

The goal is to support quality productions that promote themes aligned with Pakistan’s national interests.

Eligible Themes:

Your project should focus on one or more of the following themes:

• National Security Policy

• Counter Terrorism Efforts

• Defenders of the Homeland

• Foreign Policy Objectives

• Pakistani Diaspora Issues

• Social Issues and National Development

• Pakistani Music

• Sports

• Business and Infrastructure Development

• Tourism and Cultural Heritage

Proposal Requirements:

If you're applying, make sure your proposal includes the following:

1. Title and Genre: Clearly mention the proposed title and whether it's a feature film, telefilm, drama, documentary, or song.

2. Script Summary: Provide a two-page summary of the storyline or concept. The content must align with national values and objectives.

3. NTN Details: Submit a valid NTN of your SECP-registered production company or your personal NTN if you're an independent producer.

4. Budget & Schedule: Present a complete project budget (including the requested grant) along with the production schedule.

5. Technical Format: Specify whether the production will be in HD, UHD, 4K, or any other format.

6. Co-Financing: Mention if there is any financial institution or private investor already involved.

7. Bank Certificate: Attach a bank certificate showing that at least 50% of the project budget is already arranged or invested.

8. Distribution Plan: Explain how and where the project will be distributed (national, regional, or international).

9. Proof of Ownership: Submit affidavits, copyright certificates, or any legal proof showing you own the story/screenplay.

10. Talent Contracts: Confirm that contracts with actors and creative teams are in place or under process.

11. Producer’s Information: Include the name, nationality, CNIC, and contact details of the producer.

Key Points to Remember:

• Last Date to Apply: July 14, 2025

• The grant will cover up to 50% of the total project cost.

• The final decision on grant approval lies with the Committee formed by the Ministry.

• The Ministry reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the grant offer at any stage.

• Proposals must be submitted through the E-PADS online portal, and a hard copy must also be delivered to the address below before the deadline.
