Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) invites sealed bids from FBR-registered public companies for the sale of unserviceable and scrap material lying at Regional Store Sheikhmanda, QESCO Quetta, on an “As Is, Where Is” basis.

Scrap Items Available

The lots consist of the following unserviceable/disposable materials:

  • Lot I: Damaged Mobile Phones (415 units), Old/Damaged Tyres (467 units), Damaged Batteries, Plastic Scrap, Ladders, Wooden Scrap, PVC Scrap, Iron Scrap, Capacitors (11KV), Transformer Oil (dirty).

  • Lot II: Copper Scrap (with paper, tape & wood) – approximately 16,351 kg.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Bidding Documents:
    Can be obtained from QESCO office on submission of a written request and a non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000 per lot via Demand Draft/Pay Order in favor of CE QESCO Quetta.

  2. Bid Security:
    All bids must include 10% of the total bid value as Bid Security in the form of a Demand Draft/Pay Order in favor of CE QESCO Quetta.

  3. Bid Validity:
    All bids must remain valid for 120 days from the date of bid opening.

  4. Payment Terms:
    Successful bidders must pay the remaining amount within 21 days from issuance of the Letter of Acceptance. Failure to do so will result in cancellation and forfeiture of bid security.

  5. Sale Conditions:

    • Material will be sold on “As Is, Where Is” basis, lot-wise only.

    • No partial bids for individual items within a lot will be accepted.

    • The highest bidder will be awarded the lot, subject to approval by the competent authority.

  6. Taxes & Legal Requirements:

    • All applicable government taxes (Income Tax, GST, etc.) will be borne by the successful bidder.

    • For the purchase of transformer oil, the bidder must be licensed by OGRA as per government requirements.

  7. Submission:

    • Bids must be dropped in the tender box available at the QESCO office before the submission deadline.

    • Late bids or conditional bids will not be accepted.

    • Overwriting or cutting on tender forms will lead to disqualification.
