Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO), a leading public electric utility responsible for the distribution and sale of electricity across 13 districts of Sindh, invites sealed tenders from qualified and licensed firms for the execution of the following civil works. Interested bidders must possess:

Valid registration and renewal for the year 2024–25 with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)

Registration with the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)

Inclusion in the Active Taxpayer List (ATL)

Relevant experience in civil engineering works

Each application must be accompanied by the required bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of Executive Engineer Civil Works Division, HESCO, Hyderabad.

Tender documents are non-refundable and priced at PKR 3,000 per tender.

Only company owners or authorized representatives (with original CNIC and authority letter) may purchase the tender documents.

Applications must be on original company letterhead and include verified copies of at least two previous work orders and their completion certificates for similar civil works.

An affidavit must be provided stating the bidder is not involved in any litigation and is not blacklisted by any public or autonomous body. The affidavit must be attested by an Oath Commissioner.

Incomplete or improperly sealed tenders will be rejected. Bids must clearly mention rates in figures and words.

A 10% performance guarantee must be submitted by the lowest successful bidder at the time of issuance of the Letter of Acceptance. The guarantee must be from a scheduled bank or insurance company rated AA or higher by JCR-VIS or PACRA.
Note:
HESCO reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, as per Rule 33(1) of the Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
